Terms & Conditions

By booking or participating in any workshop, class, event, or online session (including Qi Gong, Yin Yoga, or Shake the Dust) with Lou Walker Wellness, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following:

Booking & Payment:

  • All bookings must be paid in full at the time of registration.

  • A legally binding contract is formed once payment has been received and confirmation issued.

  • All fees are listed in GBP (£).

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

In-Person Workshops & Classes

  • All bookings are final and non-refundable.

  • Bookings may be transferred to another attendee with prior written notice, at our discretion.

  • Stripe and other payment processor fees are non-refundable and will not be returned.

Online Drop-In Zoom Sessions

  • All bookings are final and non-refundable.

  • Bookings may be transferred to another participant with prior written notice, at our discretion.

  • Stripe and other payment processor fees are non-refundable.

Late Arrivals & No-Shows

  • Late arrivals or missed sessions are non-refundable.

Statutory Rights:

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds outside of this policy are issued at our sole discretion.

Transfers

  • Bookings are non-refundable except as noted above.

  • Transfers to another participant may be permitted at our discretion and must be requested in writing.

Changes or Cancellation by Lou Walker Wellness

We reserve the right to:

  • Reschedule events

  • Change venues

  • Substitute instructors

  • Cancel sessions due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control

If we cancel a session, you will be offered:

  • A full refund, or

  • A transfer to an alternative date

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including travel, accommodation, or lost earnings.

Health & Fitness Disclaimer

Participation in Qi Gong, Yin Yoga, Shake the Dust, and related workshops may involve physical activity.

By attending, you confirm that:

  • You are medically and physically fit to participate.

  • You have sought appropriate medical advice where necessary.

  • You will inform us of any relevant injuries, medical conditions, or pregnancy prior to participation.

  • You will practise within your own limits and stop immediately if you experience pain, discomfort, dizziness, or distress.

Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

Pregnancy:

If you are pregnant, you confirm that:

  • You have obtained medical clearance to participate.

  • You have informed us prior to attending.

  • You accept responsibility for practising safely within your personal limits.

    Assumption of Risk & Liability:

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lou Walker Wellness is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, except where caused by our negligence or breach of statutory duty.

    Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

    • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

    • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

    • Any liability which cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

    Online Sessions & Technology:

    Participants are responsible for:

    • Adequate space to move safely

    • Reliable internet connection

    • Appropriate equipment

    We are not liable for:

    • Technical issues outside our control

    • Interruptions to internet service

    • Participant hardware or software failures

    Session links are for registered participants only and must not be shared.

    Personal Property:

    We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to venues.

    Intellectual Property:

    All materials, recordings, and resources remain the property of Lou Walker Wellness.

    You may not:

    • Record sessions without written permission

    • Reproduce or distribute materials

    • Share paid content with third parties

    Unauthorised use may result in legal action.

    Governing Law:

    These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales (or Scotland/Northern Ireland if applicable).
