Hi, I’m Lou. An energy & Somatic Movement Guide and its my mission to help you reconnect with yourself and come home to your body and its wisdom.
My experience of burnout which lead to illness and chronic fatigue revealed just how much we can disconnect from our bodies in the rush of modern life. Through movement, somatic awareness, and Traditional Chinese Medicine practices, I discovered a deep, restorative way to return to myself—a path that now shapes my daily life and how I now support others in finding presence, grounding, and ease in their own lives.
“I guide others to reconnect with their body, reduce stress, and tap into their body’s natural intelligence through intuitive Somatic Movement and Energy Awareness”
Following a complete and exhaustive burnout in 2022 that led to chronic fatigue and other debilitating symptoms, I discovered the transformative power of energy work and Traditional Chinese Medicine through Acupuncture, Qi Gong, and Somatic Movement Therapy.
These practices became the foundation of my healing journey and now inspire the way I guide others toward presence, grounding, and ease. After a long and gradual recovery, I completed over 400 hours of training in Qi Gong and Traditional Chinese Medicine, alongside further studies in Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Reiki and Shake the Dust — an embodied somatic movement practice for release, regulation, and resilience.
Today, I am passionate about sharing these embodied and energetic practices, offering movement, energy work, and teachings grounded in Somatics and Traditional Chinese Medicine, designed to be accessible, relevant, and supportive for modern life. Through my work, I aim to inspire others to reconnect with their body’s innate wisdom, trusting its natural ability to adapt and find balance again, and experience the profound benefits of these ancient traditions.
My Teaching Approach
My teaching is deeply influenced by my love of music and my training with Shake the Dust.
Each session unfolds within a thoughtfully curated soundscape. Music becomes an active part of the practice guiding us into the body, supporting natural rhythm, and creating space for authentic expression.
As we move, the sound carries us. It gently shapes our tempo, invites openness or grounding as needed, and allows the movements to emerge organically and intuitively.
I teach Qi Gong as a living practice, one that honours ancient wisdom while evolving for modern life. Rooted in traditional principles, the practice is brought to life through awareness, breath, and connection to the body’s natural intelligence.
My role is to guide and hold space for people to reconnect with their inner vitality and subtle energy. Through gentle movement and focused intention, we cultivate awareness of Qi and allow it to flow freely.
I encourage students to let go of striving and instead deepen their listening, to sensation, to breath, and to the wisdom of the body. This creates space for healing, release, and restoration.
My teaching is inclusive and supportive, meeting each person where they are and honouring that every body holds its own unique expression of energy and movement.
I invite you to feel, explore, and move in a way that supports you exactly as you are.

WHERE INTENTION GOES, ENERGY FLOWS
// WHERE INTENTION GOES, ENERGY FLOWS
Energy is everywhere, without it we wouldn't exist - its our life force, it's in nature and every living thing.
Energy is often referred to as Qi (pronounced chee), it is a subtle, vital force that flows through all living things.
While we can’t see it, we can feel it in our vitality, emotions, and presence. When this energy flows freely and is balanced, we feel healthy, vibrant, and calm. When it’s blocked or stagnant, we may experience fatigue, anxiety, or even illness.
Everything you do thinking, moving, being, feeling requires energy. But it’s not just about having enough energy; it’s about how it flows.
Practices like Qi Gong, Reiki, and somatic movement help us tune into our inner energy, release emotional blocks, and strengthen the connection between body, mind, and spirit. Through these practices, we can feel more alive, balanced, and aligned.
“When I truly, deeply connected to my body through these somatic practises I felt freedom in my body again.”
Somatic practices and energy work have taught me that freedom is not only a concept of the mind but a lived experience of the body. Each time I truly connect with my body, I find myself returning to an innate sense of spaciousness, ease, and liberation that had always been there and waiting to be remembered.
